Pay it Forward

I’m naughty I nearly forgot to do this(!)

Pay It Forward

I’ve been reading about the Pay It Forward exchange on a few blogs, and finally decided to sign up on Natalie‘s blog. Here’s the deal:

It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based on the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness are passed on. You all know I’m already a PIF type of person. So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

You do need a blog to join in, otherwise you can’t offer it to anyone else, but that’s the only stipulation. My gifts may or NOT be woolly ones – depends what I think you’ll like(!)

  1. I don’t have a blog – sigh – I have too much knitting to do and not enough hours in the day…also, sometimes the nhs expects me to put in about 37 and a half hours in return for some money….so I opted not to have a blog, just spend my time trawling through everyone else’s!!! BUT I would like to wish you good luck with your PIF project….I’ll reciprocate in someway, since, blog-less I can’t join in yours!!! Good luck, it’s a great idea, I think anything that isn’t grumpy and moany and which surprises and delights is a GOOD IDEA!!!! wonderful…keep it going…Fran

  2. Ohhhh I love this idea, I have a very new blog, can I join? I am a pay it forward kinda girl, when we have time left on our parking vouchers we always pass them on. I tend to send (handmade)presents or cards to random friends around the world too. I recently sent a felt robot to a lovely person in america hehe. I love doing nice things for people for no other reason than it being a nice thing to do.
It all brings good karma, and im sure it will bring some to you too.
